This is a little complex to set up, but is flexible and seems to work. Many design and layout options, which makes it attractive.

Better alternatives may be built into some of the page builder tools.

Biggest drawback I see is that it is managed away from the content flow. You create your tabbed content through the plugin, then insert it into your page/post through a shortcode. This is very counter intuitive, somewhat like managing content through widgets, which is difficult for average user to understand.
