Its complex, but effective. Took 2nd try to figure it out.

First you import a CSV. The plugin reads the column titles (1st row), then asks where (post types and custom post types) you want to import to. I chose Sheet Music. Then you match up as much information as you know under WordPress Fields and skip what you don’t, WP fills in the gaps (I think). Then match up the Terms and Taxonomies like “Grade” and “Genres”. There is an option dealing with duplicate records.

A little confusing with regards to the WordPress Fields. Most people won’t know what needs to go there, or if its okay to skip. Need to understand exactly what happens if these fields are skipped!

For Music Lbrary (in this case Sheet Music), its easy to match things up once you expand the link.

Important for CSV to be properly prepared before importing, to rename column headers according to the database. The CSV doesn’t even have to be in the same order, because you just match each column to a term or taxonomy.
